DRAWING-LED ALUMINUM PARTS

Custom Aluminum CNC Machining Services

VOGUC manufactures made-to-drawing CNC parts in Dongguan, China. Our documented 6061 and 7075 aluminum components show why alloy condition, part geometry, finishing and inspection need to be reviewed together—not assumed from a material name.

MACHINING SERVICE SCOPE

Aluminum Parts Need More Than an Alloy List

This page addresses procurement of a defined machined part. The material-selection guide compares families and grades; CNC milling explains the process across materials.

A lightweight frame, a valve body and an internal-cavity housing impose different requirements even when all are aluminum. Thin ribs can move during machining; intersecting passages need burr and sealing-face review; curved cavities create tool-access and verification questions. These are challenges recorded for individual VOGUC parts, not universal claims about every aluminum job.

We decide whether milling, turning or a coordinated sequence is appropriate only after reviewing the model and drawing. If the part is dominated by diameters, bores or threads, compare the CNC turning route and identify the functional axis, fits and inspection requirements in the RFQ. If multi-face access is critical, the five-axis service explains its separate feasibility boundary. For a development build, rapid prototyping covers sample-to-production planning. No process, tolerance or lead time is guaranteed for an unseen design.

6061 and 7075 Part Evidence

These existing case records identify a part, its material, recorded process and machining challenge. They do not establish a blanket production range, certification or achievable tolerance for a new RFQ.

What to Define for a Comparable Quote

Keep the material, geometry, finish and inspection basis consistent when comparing suppliers. VOGUC is a Dongguan manufacturer, not a US or European local machine shop; flag domestic-origin or controlled-project restrictions before sending an RFQ.

01

Specify the alloy

Name the exact aluminum grade, temper, stock form and any approved substitution. The recorded examples use 6061 and 7075; other grades require a drawing and sourcing review.

02

Mark functional geometry

Identify datum surfaces, bores, sealing faces, thin walls, ribs and passages on a revision-controlled drawing. Share a 3D model when it helps clarify tool access.

03

Define finishing

State anodizing or other finish requirements, cosmetic zones, masking and whether critical dimensions apply before or after finishing.

04

Agree on acceptance

Identify critical dimensions, inspection condition, material-document scope and any reporting format needed for purchasing approval.

See surface-finishing options and inspection planning. Material documents and inspection reports require a project-specific agreement; a photo of an earlier part is not acceptance evidence for a new design.
