A digital height gauge provides controlled vertical and comparative measurement from a reference surface. With appropriate probes and setup, it supports efficient verification of heights, steps, center distances and other accessible features.
METHOD LIMITATIONS
What should be agreed before production
The method relies on a stable reference surface, correct part orientation and accessible contact points. Very complex three-dimensional relationships or hidden features may require CMM or optical measurement instead. Send the controlled drawing, critical characteristics, sampling requirement and expected report format with your RFQ.
